Job Summary

Our client’s Systems Development team has recently grown and with that growth comes the need for a new Head of Systems Development which is where you come in. This business supports a large remit of customers across the UK and has seen an increase in the demand for its services. The brand continues to lead the way as an industry leader in their respected field and there is a huge opportunity for someone joining the business to further their career and have a real impact on their success.


Your Role

As the Systems Development Leader, your influence will extend across critical domains, including website, CRM, email systems, finance, e-learning platform, and the IT infrastructure that supports them. Your leadership will be instrumental in steering strategic objectives and ensuring the systems align seamlessly with goals. In preparation for development, you'll conduct thorough business analysis and, when necessary, construct compelling business cases. Maintaining a robust development pipeline for core platforms, you'll align priorities with stakeholders and oversee delivery within agreed-upon timelines.


About You

  • Proficiency in systems development using ITIL4 or Agile development practices
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling comprehensive problem-solving from multiple perspectives
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud Computing, IT Infrastructure, SaaS, telephony, and contact systems
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive issues confidentially and within specified deadlines
  • A visible leader sets an example by taking responsibility for challenging team members and driving change
