Job Summary
Our client’s Resource Planning team has recently grown and with that growth comes the need for a new Planning Manager which is where you come in. Our client is moving to the next stage in their Transformation program moving from a traditional model to a more hybrid way with a key focus on having a stronger digital presence that fully maximises the use of new technologies in place.
Your role
As the Planning Manager, you'll lead, develop and build the Planning & Scheduling team ensuring the delivery is effective and efficient resource allocation with up to 50 variables at any one time. You'll work with the overall business to identify which variable is required for what task and deliver them accordingly.
About you
We're looking for a technical Planning professional with ideally some exposure to management with a track record of designing and building best in class Resource processes (extra points if you have experience of working within higher education and have been great at it and all that being a Planning Manager involves –if it needs explaining then this is probably not for you.

At least 2 years of experience in a Resource Planning role

Excellent Analytical skills to compile, analyse and provide key insights

Strong commercial awareness understanding of impacts on financial performance

Proven stakeholder management exposure at all levels, demonstrating influence and communication skills
